I am the wife of entrepreneur and small business owner Randy Coley. We have been married for twenty-five years and have two sons; Seth, our oldest, who attends UNCW and our youngest, Reese, an Apex High School graduate attending Wake Tech. I have been a stay-at-home mom and a small businesswoman who divides her time between our family investment properties, church activities, and community involvement.
The eldest of three children, I am the daughter of Reverend Leonard and Judy Meyers who pastor in Sikeston Missouri. When asked where I’m from I usually respond, “I am an all American Girl.” I have been in and out of the public and private educational system. I have even been homeschooled. I attended schools from the Midwest to the upper East Coast regions, including the smallest state, Rhode Island. I have lived my life in front of people. Because of my background, I have never met a stranger. This unusual background has lent me the ability to find common ground with most people. I have implemented the tools I received through education while utilizing my God-given abilities, which include my outgoing personality, the gift of gab and a heart to serve.
When people ask how I got to be so involved, I reply by quoting Ecclesiastes 9:10 “whatever your hand finds to do, do it as unto the Lord…”
I want to bring a unique perspective of elected official service to the people of North Carolina. I believe our elected officials need to bring back the adage of earning the voter’s trust in their service to the community. I ask for your support, both at the poll and financially, and I need team leadership, now and later at the polls. I ask for you to put your faith and trust in me to represent your interest for the good of North Carolina.
